I came to Roopville Elementary in 2014 as the Media Specialist after spending 5 years teaching Special Education in the Cobb County School System.  I achieved my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Special Education from Mercer University and attended University of West Georgia for my master's degree in School Library Media.  In addition to teaching, I have over 24 years of experience working in public and school libraries. I have a love of children's literature that I get to share with our students every day!

I currently live in Carrollton with my husband and our two daughters. In my spare time,  I enjoy spending time with my family or curling up with a good book!
