Academic Team

Roopville Elementary Academic Team is a competitive group of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who study trivia style questions in the areas of reading, language arts, math, science, social studies, and general knowledge.  These students travel to various schools within the RESA district to compete with other schools to see who can answer the most questions correctly within the specified time frame.  The top four schools within each RESA area have the opportunity to advance to the district and state level competition.  Additionally, Carroll County Schools host a competition each year for our students to participate.  Roopville Hornets work hard to give their best at each competition and represent our school in a positive way!  We look forward to another fun and successful season!
