Mrs. Jennifer Carroll is in her 22nd year of teaching. She spent three of those years teaching in Douglas County, Georgia before moving to Carroll County. She is married to Phillip Carroll of Carrollton, Georgia. They have three children, Drew a sophomore at Mississippi State University, Carson is a Senior at Central High School, and Lilly is in 5th grade. Mrs. Carroll is an avid baseball fan, with her favorite team being the Central Lions! Mrs. Carroll is the Gifted Facilitator at Roopville Elementary School, where she enjoys teaching STEM education to all children.
Mrs. Carroll was named the Roopville Elementary School Teacher of the Year in 2017. In 2018, she was awarded the Georgia Farm Bureau Teacher of the Year for the state of Georgia for her work in integrating algricultural concepts into the classroom. Mrs. Carroll has formally presented at The Georgia STEM/STEAM Conference in Athens and at The National Ag in the Classroom conference in Portland, Maine.
