Marla Turpin

I was born and raised in Carrollton as a Central Lion. After graduating from high school in 1999, I attended the University of Georgia and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. I received a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University, and I am currently working towards my Doctor of Education in School Improvement at the University of West Georgia.  I taught elementary school for 15 years, and this is my third year as an administrator. I am very excited to be the principal at RES!

My husband, Charles, and I met at UGA and have three daughters who attend Roopville (Audrey) and Central Middle (Annabelle and Addie). We all love our Lions & Dawgs.

I am excited to be here at RES where the expectations are high and the fabulous students are surrounded by warm, highly-qualified teachers!
