I grew up in Columbiana, Alabama. Just a small town South of Birmingham. I feel right at home in Roopville, Georgia. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS degree. My husband and family moved to Georgia when my kids were just toddlers. I have been teaching ever since. I have taught in Coweta County, Heard County, and now Carroll County. I have been at Roopville Elementary since 2017 and in 2018 I became Nationally STEM certified. I love Roopville Elementary!
I have an amazing husband, son, and daughter. I have three dogs, a cat, 3 horses, and 8 chickens. My son is a "computer geek" and my daughter's favorite thing to do is barrell race or ride her horse. My passion outside of teaching is mountain biking, camping, reading a good book, or just hanging out with my family.
